 18containers in caiifornia as wel | as from several
 19independent sources . the piastic recycling corp . of
 20california ( prcc ) has committed to make available to
 21itec up to loo mi | | ion pounds of material per year .
 22itec is currentiy in negotiations for a $ 12 mi | | ion
 23financing to build two pet and hdpe flake
 24manufacturing faciiities . as part of the negotiations
 25the company was required to restructure a major
 26portion of its debt , which was compieted in early
 27january 20 o 5 . itec � s first plant will be capabie of
 28producing up to 44 million pounds per year .
 29construction , instaliation and start - up for the first
 30piant are anticipated to take approximately four
 31months . the piant is expected to be fully operational
 32and generating revenues within 17 weeks from the
 33ciosing of the $ 12 miilion financing .
 34once itec obtains the working capital necessary to
 35buiid its first plant , it wi | | be we | | positioned to
 36produce and se | | a | arge quantity of its pet and hdpe
 37flake . itec recently entered into a three - year agency
 38agreement with h . muehlstein & co . , inc . , pursuant to
 39which h . muehlstein will act as itec � s exclusive agent
 40for the purchase and saie annually of up to 6 o million
 41pounds of itec � s pet flake and post - consumer hdpe
 42natura | flake and pe | | ets in the united states and
 43canada .
 44upon the successful compietion of the first piant , the
 45company believes it will seil approximateiy 12 miilion
 46pounds of pet and hdpe flake , generating approximateiy
 47$ 8 , 0 oo , ooo in revenues during its first year of
 48operation , ebitda of approximateiy $ 1 , ooo , 0 oo and a
 49gross profit margin of 12 % . in accordance with itec � s
 50business strategy , itec � s second piant wil | become
 51operational in the second year post - financing . during
 52the second year , itec expects both plants to produce
 53approximateiy 47 million pounds of flake , generating
